Mizz Mummy has been sent out a Twirlywoos character gift set to show you and write up a review, I think it would be the perfect treat for little ones to celebrate their first big successful week of preschool!

Australian children are being captivated by a brand-new TV series, Twirlywoos, the latest preschool offering by renowned children’s TV specialist Anne Wood, creator of Teletubbies and In The Night Garden.

In just three months from its Australian launch on ABC Kids, 2.6 million episodes of Twirlywoos were downloaded!

Twirlywoos is a funny flight of discovery, Twirlywoos, is a comedy series for 2-5-year-olds featuring the adorable antics of four, fruit tea-loving birdlike characters: Great BigHoo, Toodloo, Chickedy and Chick.
Combining stop frame animation and live action sequences set in the real world, the series follows the Twirlywoos as they seek out new adventures and discover new things… often causing comic mayhem in their wake!


Twirlywoos Gift Set

The Twirlywoos Character Gift Set, RRP $39.95 (suitable for children aged 18 months+)

The Twirlywoos Character Gift Set features Great BigHoo, Toodloo, Chickedy and Chick and Peekaboo! Made of chunky and durable plastic these colourful character figurines are the perfect size for little hands and will help children develop fine motor skills whilst encouraging them to use their imagination. Great BigHoo and Toodloo have articulated arms and legs and their heads move from side to side, whilst Chickedy and Chick have articulated legs. The characters vary in size from 5cm to 11cm and are compatible with the Big Red Boat Playset (sold separately).

Michael loves that you can position the Twirlywoos and move their legs so they can either stand up or sit down, They are a wonderful size and so vibrant and inviting. Michael takes his Twirlywoos with us almost everywhere so having something that is so bright makes it easy to spot in the middle of a playground.

Review

Twirlywoos airs on ABC Kids weekdays at 11.30am. Twirlywoos is made by children’s TV specialists Ragdoll Productions and devised by Anne Wood (Teletubbies, In the Night Garden, The Adventures of Abney and Teal) and Steve Roberts (Dipdap) and is narrated by Linda Bassett.
