Funtastic Bunchems Mega Pack Review by Mizz Mummy

We had just finished our brekky when the doorbell chimed, Riley (4) Started yelling, “DELIVERY, DELIVERY”. Upon bringing the package inside, I knew that the boys reaction to the Bunchems Mega Pack was going to be intense!
Both of my boys are very crafty & imaginative little creatures and love nothing more then constructing incredible things from the most unlikely of items & with Bunchems boasting the message “If you can think it, you can create it with Bunchems”, I could tell they were in for a fun filled morning!
Bunchems really gets those little minds turning and thinking – I could see the look of concentration on Rileys face as he observed the colour varieties and the 36 accessories. The first thing he came up with was a monster which he named Ron. We sat for nearly 2 whole hours – which may I add is a very prolonged period of time for not only a 4 year old but a 2 year old to stay so engaged on the one activity.
The recommended age for Bunchems is 4+ but it was hard to keep Michael (2) away from creating his own Bunchems masterpiece – Of course under constant supervision from Mummy as Bunchems do pose as a choking risk. Bunchems also do have the tendency to get caught in hair but there is a video tutorial in the event of one becoming stuck : http://bunchems.com/support.php?loc=en_AU
The Bunchems are super vibrant and the possibilities of what you can make is totally endless, They are a furry “burr” like plastic sphere and are the perfect combination of construction and craft and the way they work totally blew Riley’s mind. He really took a close look at them before asking how they were sticking . These are a parents best friend as clean up is so easy, No paint brushes to wash, No sticky messes, No scraps of bits & bobs…. Simply just bunch them all up and put them back in the box.
Another great feature about the Bunchems, They are reusable so you can enjoy creating master pieces over & over again!
Riley commented on how he loved the feeling of the Bunchems and enjoyed squishing them all together and pulling them back apart, The Bunchems also have a hole in the center to securely add accessories to your creations.
With the colder months about to bounce into gear that for parents generally means trying to find something that is going to be good for inside play that doesn’t include a screen, so as a Mum I love learning about a toy that not only keeps kids entertained but it is so important to keep imagination alive & I feel they definitely do that and MORE!
To wrap up this review, I can happily say our experience has been a wonderfully fun and imaginative experience that I would recommend to my readers, friends & family on the proviso that you are giving sufficient supervision and that your kiddos who have long hair, have it tied back! There is a chance you may fall of your bike, but you don’t let the fear of that stop you from getting on and having fun – Same deal.
If you’re interested & would like to check them out – You can find them in store at Big W or online HERE
